Rainbow Award Winner 2010 - THE RIDDLE OF THE SANDS

THE RIDDLE OF THE SANDS has won the 2010 Rainbow Award for Best Gay Mystery/Thriller, and came equal third for Best Overall Gay Fiction Novel of the Year!!!! Now that's what I call a great way to end 2010!

Congrats to all the other winners and honorble mentions and the huge effort put in by the judges and of course Elisa, the Awards' founder!

Congratulations, it is well deserved, Geoffrey. I loved this book and this series and can't wait for The Curse of the Dragon God to come out.

Thanks guys! I've been a bit slow on the fourth book, but it's hatching in my brain. I'm totally fixed on using the Olmecs!

Who is Luca da Roma?

Twenty-six years ago, a baby boy was left in a basket on the doorstep of the convent of Santa Maria del Mare in Tuscany. There was a note pinned to the baby’s blanket explaining that he had no name and was a bastard child, born in the ghettoes of Rome. Around his neck was a small crucifix on a silver chain.
