Valentine's Day!
Well Valentine's Day is on its way again. To be perfectly honest I didn't even realize until a couple of friends mentioned it. I never celebrate Valentine's Day, whether I'm in a relationship or not. I figure if I love someone, I don't need one particular day of the year to show it and prove it. If I'm in love, every day should be Valentine's Day.
By the way, did you know that Valentine's Day is based around a Roman soldier named Valentine who used to take his male lovers to his chambers and make love to them on a bed of red rose petals! That sure puts the Roman in Romantic!!
Actually, I just made that story up. But it's sexy, huh!

Songs of the Day—John Barry
Last week, John Barry—one of my all-time favorite composers—died, leaving behind some of the most memorable film scores in movie history, including OUT OF AFRICA, DANCES WITH WOLVES, BORN FREE and probably his most famous work of all, the James Bond theme. What a life well-lived! Thank you, John, the world will miss you!

Scary Video of the Day!
Fact or Fiction? Hoax or Holy Shit? Either way, last week's UFO over Jerusalem is damn spooky footage! Personally I think it's a viral video to promote the release of BATTLE: LOS ANGELES in a few weeks time. Of course if I do get sucked up into an alien spaceship in the next few days I'll happily admit to being wrong!
