Cool Name of the Day!
I only discovered the other day that the “S” in Harry S Truman’s name isn’t actually an initial. Harry’s parents chose "S" as his "middle name" in an attempt to please both of Harry's grandfathers, Anderson Shipp Truman and Solomon Young. The letter doesn’t actually stand for a name – it IS his name. How cool is that! If I ever have a kid, I’m so calling him S.

Muse of the Day—Sean Lamont
Song of the Day—Washington's "Clementine"
Oh and what the heck, here's another! Double-click it to get the full picture.
Song of the Day—Washington's "Sunday Best"
I have an announcement to make: my fave new band is an awesome new Aussie singer/band called Washington. Well, the lead singer's name is Meg Washington so I'm not sure if Washington is the whole band or just her. Anyway, I was introduced to her music about a week ago by a friend and I loved it immediately, then we went and saw her play live last night and I have to say it was one of the BEST live performances I've ever seen! She has so much raw passion and energy and talent, yet so down-to-earth and funny. She was AMAZING! Her work ranges from fun to beautiful to bouncy to wild. She even did a cover of a Rufus song!! Anyway, here's one of her first clips—I hope you like it, I think it might be the first of many! (By the way, I have a schoolboy crush on Jules in the video... he's so cute!)

LOL Pic of the Day!
Oh the dangers of iPhones! You have to be SO careful what you're sending and to whom! On several occasions I've had people reply to my texts saying "I think this was supposed to go to someone else." Thankfully never like this. Can't help but wonder though, if Jesus really wanted to save him, he would have deleted that message before the kid's mamma saw it - LOL!

Song of the Day—"The Trolley Song" by Judy Garland and Rufus Wainwright!
I love Rufus's take on "The Trolley Song", he's so damn theatrical! But there's no comparing to Judy Garland. What? Me? Gay?
Journeys to Italy!
Allow me to introduce you to il gatto di San Pietro—the cat of St Peter. In the small seaside town of Portovenere, just south of Portofino, there is a 12th Century church that was built over an ancient pagan church, and in it lives this cat. Just like the church itself, il gatto di San Pietro is black and white and well looked after—an old local man feeds him every night, while during the day the cat graciously, if not proudly, shows tourists around his sacred home.
